Vacation At Atlantis

In January Chris and I had the exciting opportunity to go on vacation in the Bahamas! Not just in the Bahamas though, at Atlantis! For those of you who might not be aware, Atlantis is located on Paradise Island which is next to Nassau. Atlantis is a hot spot for day excursions for cruise guest who port at Nassau.

This was basically a dream vacation! Up until this trip I had never traveled out of the country, other than a 4 day cruise. We woke up at the crack of dawn and started our journey. Arriving at Atlantis mid afternoon allowed us time to explore the resort before and after dinner. And I know what you’re thinking, “but Stephanie how did you survive all that time without Starbucks?” No worries guys! There were three Starbucks locations at our resort!

Our room was located in The Royal – West Tower, which was simply beautiful and breath taking. From our window you could see the cruise port, and all the amazing yachts parked at the docs, and in the morning you can watch guests swim with the dolphins.

If you know Chris and I one of our favorite things to do on vacation is eat. There was a large selection of fine dining throughout the resort and some quick service meals as well. Besides eating though, our favorite part of the trip by far were the water slides!

Can we talk about The Leap of Faith! This is a 60-foot almost-vertical drop is insane and so much fun! Our first full day at Atlantis we took the bull by the horns and attacked The Leap of Faith right away. No regrets, you will have so much fun, just don’t look down! All the body slides, and tube slides were a blast, not to mention the Rapids River. We spent one full day in the water park and it was possibly my favorite day of the trip. We also had the amazing opportunity to enjoy a Private Cabana for a day at the Coral Pool, and wow! Coral Pool offers multiple private cabanas and a swim up pool, serve up all the virgin sugary drinks please!

I could talk for hours about how amazing this trip was for us. Just to be able to unwind, and unplug was lovely. Each morning we would wake up early, eat breakfast and take a walk on the beach. What more could you ask for?!

Check out all the fun we had in our travel vlog!
