“It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then…”

Nothing is more fun than wearing a character based dress at Disney! My sweet cousin came fully prepared this trip with a stack of the most adorable outfits. She is a fashion blogger in the making. After very little persuasion I slipped into this fun little dress. Based off the movie Alice In Wonderland. This loose flouncy dress has the very popular Cheshire Cat printed all over it. Plus, it’s pink! No color speaks to me like the color pink does. Growing up Alice In Wonderland wasn’t in my top 5 favorites, but the older I get the more I love it!

“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.
“Oh, you can’t help that,” said the Cat: “we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.”
“How do you know I’m mad?” said Alice.
“You must be,” said the Cat, “or you wouldn’t have come here.”

We’re all a little mad in the end and I think that’s why I’ve grown to love this movie.

You can have this cute dress yourself, find it here!

We are have had a blast on our trip and I can’t wait to share more with you!

Disney World From A To Z | Pirates of The Caribbean

Disney World

Read along as I take you each week from one park to the next, exploring different attractions, resorts, dinning experiences, shows, and of course shopping. At the end of this series you will have experienced Disney World from A to Z! Although I’m not an official Disney travel agent I have had the opportunity to visit the most magical place on earth multiple times. I’ve been able to see some amazing shows, eat at some of the best restaurants, and experience some limited time events. With all of these great memories, pictures, and experiences and I decided it was high time to share them with my amazing readers! (that’s you!)

“yo ho, yo ho, a pirates life for me” For those of you who may be a younger Disney lover did you know this attraction actually inspired the movie series Pirates of the Caribbean. That’s right the attraction Pirates of the Caribbean first opened in Disneyland in 1967 and it was loved so much by the public they opened a second one in Disney World in 1973. Step into your boat and be swept away on this 9 min. ride through time, adventure, and treasure hunting. It’s unlikely you will get wet on this boat ride but the seats are sometimes damp so watch out! You can’t help but sing along and smile as the audio-animatronics pirates plunder and steal from the town folks around you. If you’re a fan of the movie series, Pirates of the Caribbean, then you will be pleasantly surprised by the newly added Captain Blackbear and Mermaids! And of course you will need to keep your eyes peeled for the sneaky Jack Sparrow himself! If you have a little pirate or princess pirate in your group this is a must do ride. I recommend Fast Passing this attraction or riding it at the beginning of the day because the wait times increase throughout the day. Pirates of the Caribbean is located in Adventureland  next to Jungle Cruise and across from Pecos Bill Cafe, which is a delicious place to eat. Oh and don’t forget to talk like a pirate when you ride it!

Disney World From A to Z | One Man’s Dream

Disney World

Read along as I take you each week from one park to the next, exploring different attractions, resorts, dinning experiences, shows, and of course shopping. At the end of this series you will have experienced Disney World from A to Z! Although I’m not an official Disney travel agent I have had the opportunity to visit the most magical place on earth multiple times. I’ve been able to see some amazing shows, eat at some of the best restaurants, and experience some limited time events. With all of these great memories, pictures, and experiences and I decided it was high time to share them with my amazing readers! (that’s you!)

Today we are going to be talking about the letter “O” as in One Man’s Dream. As in an attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that illustrates the amazing life of Walt Disney. The impact Walt had on his company and the world is still in full affect today. His dreams came to life changing the entertainment world forever. Inside this walk through attraction you will see some of the amazing artifacts of rough drafts, diagrams, and models. While reading about Walt’s childhood you see how it framed his adulthood and business goals for Disney Land, and later Disney World. At the end of this walk through attraction you can sit down and enjoy “One Man’s Dream” a movie of Walt’s success and life.

“We are not trying to entertain the critics. I’ll take my chances with the public.”

-Walt Disney

And entertaining the public he did! Walt has brought thousands of people to his parks and in return he gave them life long memories of fun. Although this attraction may be overlooked by many park guests it has grown to be one of my favorites. There’s so many things we can learn from Walt Disney as entrepenuaers and as simply inspired people who love to dream. One Man’s Dream is located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in between Voyage of the Little Mermaid and The Legend of Jack Sparrow, behind The Great Movie Ride. So next time you’re visiting Disney World be sure to walk through and watch One Man’s Dream, I promise you’ll leave feeling inspired!

Disney World From A To Z | Never A Dull Moment

Disney World

Read along as I take you each week from one park to the next, exploring different attractions, resorts, dinning experiences, shows, and of course shopping. As you’ve realized, I’m sure going through this series, there’s simply never a dull moment when your vacationing at Disney World. Weather you’re hitting the parks every day, exploring Disney Springs, or just relaxing at the pool you’ll never be bored! I encourage you to enjoy your time, no matter what you choose to do soak it in and know there’s always something for everyone! Even that hard to please relatives can have fun at Disney! Soak up the sun, enjoy the food, take lots of pictures because you’re making memories and that’s the whole point, isn’t it?

I love viewing Disney through the eyes of a little one. Everything is new and exciting, and the smallest things are entertaining. Spending a day at the resort pool is just as fun and exciting as the Magic Kingdom. The little ones don’t see the difference between a buss ride and a character meet and greet, they just make the most out of where they are, they don’t have to worry about FastPasses and wait times they’re just having fun. So don’t stress out! No matter how you choose to spend your time there’s never a dull moment at Disney World!

Disney World From A To Z | Magical Express

Disney World

Read along as I take you each week from one park to the next, exploring different attractions, resorts, dinning experiences, shows, and of course shopping. At the end of this series you will have experienced Disney World from A to Z! Although I’m not an official Disney travel agent I have had the opportunity to visit the most magical place on earth multiple times. I’ve been able to see some amazing shows, eat at some of the best restaurants, and experience some limited time events. With all of these great memories, pictures, and experiences and I decided it was high time to share them with my amazing readers! (that’s you!)

Today we are talking about transportation! But not just any transportation, Magical Express transportation. For those of you have who have never visited Disney World, and you plan on flying into the Orland International Airport you HAVE to use Magical Express! No one likes waiting for their bags to be loaded off the plane, and then having to wait on a cab and then taking an awkward ride to your resort. That doesn’t start out your Disney vacation on a magical note. But you know what is magical? When you arrive to the Orland International Airport and you board a buss that takes you directly to your resort, where your luggage will magically appear later that day! That just screams vacation to me.

Are you sold?

Ready to find out how you get hooked up with Disney’s Magical Express?

Here’s what you need to know.

You must make reservations for Magical Express at least one day before you arrive in Orlando, if you use a travel agent they will most likely make these reservations for you upon request. If you make your reservations ten days prior to your flight dates you will receive Magical Express papers in the mail! Disney will need your airline information to know when you are arriving. Once they process this information you and your traveling party will receive special luggage tags to allow Magical Express to know which bags are yours.

If you plan on using Magical Express be sure to pack your necessary items on your carry on with you. These items would include, your park tickets, or magic bands, and anything else you would need as soon as your arrive on Disney property. Some people pack their PJs or swimsuits to hit the resort pools right away!

IMG_8555A

On your return flight Magical Express will pick you up outside of your resort three hours before your flight is scheduled to take off. This allows plenty of time for traffic, and for you to proceed through security and finding your gate. Riding the Magical Express buss back to the airport gives you that one more goodbye to Disney and all of the wonderful memories it holds. The video played while you make your way back to the Orlando International Airport might even make you cry.

No matter how many times I fly to Disney Magical Express is always there to pick me up and take me to my resort, it’s perfect!
